Headstrong Academy Terms and Conditions
Withdrawal and Payment Liability
Once the course has commenced (i.e. you have attended or accessed materials after the official start date), you become liable for the full course fee, even if you later withdraw. If you are paying in instalments, you must still complete all scheduled payments. No refunds are issued for partial attendance or early withdrawal.
In exceptional circumstances (such as serious illness or bereavement), you may apply in writing to defer your place to a future cohort. Deferrals are granted at the discretion of the Head of Academy.
Instalment Payment Terms and Conditions
Payment Schedule:
Instalment plans must be agreed in advance. Payments are due on the dates outlined in your plan. You are responsible for ensuring funds are available.
Failure to Pay:
If an instalment does not go through, we will contact you and ask you to make payment within 7 calendar days.
If payment is not received, your access to course materials may be suspended until the balance is cleared.
Ongoing non-payment may result in referral to debt recovery services, and you may be withdrawn from the course.
Commitment to Full Fees:
By enrolling and choosing instalments, you are committing to paying the full course fee, even if you leave the course early.
Deferrals and Exceptions:
If you experience serious illness or exceptional personal circumstances, you may request a deferral in writing. Supporting evidence may be required (e.g., doctor’s note). If approved, your instalment plan may be paused and carried over to the next cohort. Approval sits with the Academy Manager.
Sponsorship Applications
Headstrong Academy offers a limited number of sponsorships to support students from underrepresented communities who may experience financial, social, or structural barriers to accessing training. By applying for sponsorship, you agree to the following terms and conditions.

Because sponsorship numbers are very limited, meeting the eligibility criteria does not guarantee that support will be granted.
Applicants may be entirely suitable and eligible, but sponsorship may still not be available due to restricted spaces within each cohort.
Non-approval is not a reflection on your merit, capability, identity, or readiness for training.

All personal information submitted in your sponsorship application is handled confidentially and in accordance with our Privacy Policy.
Information is used solely for the purpose of assessing sponsorship eligibility and will not be shared outside the Academy’s senior team unless required by law.
