Headstrong Academy’s Diploma in Clinical Supervision is a practical and in-depth training for experienced practitioners who want to become confident and highly skilled supervisors.
The course teaches practical and widely used supervision models for individual and group supervision, and has a strong focus on safeguarding, ethical practice, trauma-informed approaches, intersectionality, and anti-discriminatory clinical supervision work. Graduates will be equipped to provide supervision in private practice, organisational, and training contexts.

Across 26 engaging sessions, this Diploma offers a deep and applied exploration of what it means to be a modern, ethical, and socially aware supervisor.
You’ll develop practical skills in supervision models (such as widely used 7-eyed model), contracting, and group work, while engaging with themes such as trauma-informed practice, intercultural and anti-oppressive supervision, queer-affirmative and disability justice approaches, and working with risk.
The course blends theory, experiential learning, and real-world case studies to equip you with the confidence and competence to lead supervision with depth, integrity, and care.
